This is an incredible opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to engage with Indy’s local government and contribute to a thriving city, hear from city leaders, and experience day-to-day operations.
This internship is unpaid and housing is not provided. Parking or an IndyGo bus pass is provided. Candidates will have to successfully complete a background check prior to acceptance. Students seeking academic credit for full-time or part-time participation in the program should coordinate with their respective college or university to comply with their specific procedures and requirements.
Interns are expected to work between 20 and 30 hours per week. The 2019 fall program runs from Tuesday, September 3 to Friday, December 13. All those selected into the 2019 fall cohort are expected to attend orientation at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3 or 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4.
