We are seeking an advanced, goal-driven student or recent graduate with proven creative excellence in marketing, content development, event management and fundraising support. This is a part-time position at approximately twenty hours per week and located in our Stutz Building office.
The ideal candidate will possess a curious and positive nature; be a self-starter and able to pack a lot into those twenty hours. This person will write well, communicate effectively across online platforms and in person, and have working knowledge of a variety of creative digital platforms. And (s)he will be resourceful to figure out other platforms that may help IndyHub operate more effectively. This person will play a crucial role on IndyHub’s staff and will be expected to hold oneself to a high standard of performance.
Part 1. Content / 70% / Approx. 14 hours per week
Manage, write, develop and curate written and visual content for indyhubprod.wpengine.com, including the calendar of events and blogs, and our social media communities on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Using the awareness you’ll gain, help plan content for our twice-monthly enewsletter. (Know video, too? Bonus.) Platforms used: WordPress, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram.
Part 2. Events / 20% / Approx. 4 hours per week
Contribute to the planning and hosting efforts for all IndyHub events, managing monthly Happy Hours and vetting potential venues and opportunities for other IndyHub events. Manage online and onsite event registration. Note: This requires an occasional early morning or post-work day hours. Anything required beyond the normal workweek will be communicated in advance and compensated for.
Part 3. Fundraising and Administrative Support / 10% / Approx. 2 hours per week
Communicate and maintain a meaningful set of key metrics, constituent groups and stakeholders.
